Our History
The Merwin IV & Specialty Pharmacy was created to serve an unmet need in long term care pharmacy. It was developed out of our Long Term Care Pharmacy to further address those needs. The pharmacy needs of nursing home patients are becoming more and more complex. Nursing home patients have more difficult and challenging therapies. This pharmacy pays close attention to these therapy needs. We monitor each patient's progress while carefully checking for side effects and complications. The IV & Specialty along with the Long Term Care pharmacy works as a partnership to meet the needs of these patients. Collectively the pharmacy has close to 40 years of IV & Specialty pharmacy experience.
Our Philosophy
Merwin IV & Specialty, as part of Robin Drug Corporation, has the mission of providing IV services to our patients. Merwin strives to provide these services in a manner that maintains the highest levels of quality and sterility. Merwin supports this mission by providing the highest quality in IV therapy. We utilize USP 797 clean room standards, thorough patient monitoring and consistent provider follow up to maintain this quality. Merwin fosters clinical excellence in its staff and services, and promotes an ethical relationship with our customers and clients.
